Stuartholme School offers full time and part time employment opportunities for teachers and non-teaching staff.

Our Commitment to Student Protection

Stuartholme School is committed to recruiting, selecting, training and managing employees in such a way that limits risks to students.  The School adheres to policies and procedures in relation to employment which are contained in the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Regulation 2020, Education (Accreditation of Non-State Schools) Act 2017 and Regulation and the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005.

All candidates are required to undergo a screening process prior to appointment and the successful candidate must comply with School policies and relevant legislation relating to student protection.

It is a requirement under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 that people working with children (under 18 years of age) in a paid, voluntary, or self-employed capacity, are required to undergo a criminal history check – the “working with children check”. A certified copy, or sighting of the original Blue Card, must be produced prior to commencement of duties.

To be considered for a teaching position at Stuartholme School, applicants must be currently registered or be eligible for Teacher Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.  Applicants for non-teaching positions must have a current Blue Card or Exemption Card to be eligible to apply.

Applicants for all positions at Stuartholme School must be legally eligible to work in Australia.
